Outdoor matting agent based on durable acrylic resin  T-550

1.Description

T-550 is a glycidyl containing solid acrylic resin designed for applying in low acid value statured carboxyl polyester powder coatings system as hardener using compatibility difference to achieve matt gloss.T-550 reactivity and matting performance are both superior than similar products in market, and is more suitable for exterior matting finish. It has the following characteristics:1. Excellent matting performance with reduced usage, normally only 80% dosage of similar products is enough;2, good mechanical performance;3, more steady gloss, hardly affected by production process and spraying conditions.

①Polyester to T-550 ratio is 75/25, when use polyester with acid value between 30-35 mgKOH/g. Normally select lower acid value polyester to get cost reduction and more smoothness film appearance.

②HAA curing agent,T-318, usually is used to adjust the gloss of finish. In mass production, we always fix the usage of pure polyester, T-550 and catalyst T-62, and only control gloss by T-318 or TGIC.

③Using 0.05～0.2% T-62 in formulations above can make film mechanical performance better, gloss lower and stable, with reduced cost. But when use too much, levelling would be affected.

5.package and storage:

Packaging with PE lined Kraft paper bags, Net weight 25kg per bag. Store in cool and

dry place to avoid moisture. According to our experience, the shelf life of this product is at least 2 years when ambient temperature below 30 ℃.
